Foundation
The foundations of Türkerler Holding were laid in Ankara.
Growth Period
Investments in different sectors began. The holding structure was strengthened.
Healthcare Investments
Construction of Samsun (400-bed) Training and Research Hospital began.
Energy Licenses
License applications were submitted to EPDK for approximately 9,000 MW across 67 wind power plant projects.
First Energy Generation
Türkerler's first energy generation facility, the Erenköy Regulator and Hydroelectric Plant, was commissioned.
Key Projects
- • Licenses for approximately 2,000 MW of installed capacity were won in wind power tenders
- • Ankara Etlik Integrated Health Campus (PPP) contract was signed
- • Foundation of the Çiftçi Towers project was laid
VEDAŞ Acquisition
The Van Lake tender was won. VANGÖLÜ EDAŞ was acquired for a 30-year period.
Geothermal Energy
The 24 MW Alaşehir-Manisa GPP-1 was completed and electricity sales began.
Financing Agreements
The Etlik Health Campus financing agreement was signed. Three hydroelectric plant projects with a total installed capacity of 124.1 MW were commissioned.
International Financing
USD 1.1 billion in financing was secured for İzmir and Kocaeli. Construction of the Mahall Bomonti İzmir project began.
YEKA Tender
- • Won the 1,000 MW Wind Energy YEKA tender
- • Acquired 182.6 MW of additional capacity
- • Became the leader in the employment mobilization campaign (11,241 new jobs)
Geothermal Energy
The 30 MW Manisa Alaşehir GPP-3 geothermal power plant began generation.
Wind Power Plants
Wind Power Plants generating a total of 188 MW began production.
Healthcare & Real Estate
- • Etlik City Hospital opened and the operational period began
- • Life began at Çiftçi Towers Türkerler in İstanbul
City Hospitals & Mahall Bomonti İzmir
- • Kocaeli City Hospital and İzmir City Hospital opened, operational period began
- • Life began at our Mahall Bomonti İzmir project
Tourism Investment
Construction of the Canopy by Hilton İzmir Bomonti hotel project began.
Mining & Real Estate
- • Rozino Gold Mine license obtained in Bulgaria
- • Construction of the Mahall Istanbul project began
