Bartın Kirazlıköprü Dam is within the boundaries of Bartın province, 23rd Regional Directorate of State Hydraulic Works and it is located in the north of Turkey, in the north-western Black Sea river basin, over the Bartın (Gökırmak) Stream. With the project, Bartin city center and 670 hectares of agricultural land will be protected from floods, and 2.113 hectares of agricultural land will be provided with irrigation water in Bartın Plain.
